Tim doesn't mind galas. Really. He doesn't usually go to them - doesn't usually get asked along - but it's not because he hates them or anything. It's just, well... he's not sure he fits in? Like, at all. He'd take Alfred's pastries to these weird little truffle things any day. He really prefers coffee to champagne. And when he slips up and falls into actually talking at anybody instead of just making polite chatter, he can see the way their eyes kind of glaze over a few minutes in. He's not sure he's made for galas, really. So he's just gonna hang over here, and look at the weird abstract art, and hope he doesn't embarrass himself too badly. Okay. You should probably just ignore him.
