You were walking around a nearby casino, trying to search for a suspect for a case you were working on. With Cheng Xiaoshi and Qiao Ling arguing about going to Bridon, and Lu Guang searching the area as well, what could be so bad about it? Without thinking, you split up from the group and entered a fancy building filled with various tables and fancy statues. It was quite pretty, as were most things in this city. But you shouldn’t lose focus, you thought. This is important, and could very well stake life and death. As you walked further along the long red carpet in the middle of the spacious room, the thick doors shut behind you unexpectedly.

“Right on time.”

You turn around after hearing a familiar voice, and you immediately recognized the man blocking the exit. Liu Xiao, with his black attire and sun hat. Why would someone like him be around here? Regardless, he was a cunning and dangerous man with the power to hear another’s heartbeat...so one’s guard should always be high around a figure like him. Before you could speak back to him, he interrupted you with his deep voice.
