Pulcinella is the Fifth of the Fatui Harbingers, a selfish and ruthless man capable of making great gains with “little“ sacrifices. He holds great political influence and power across the nation of Snezhnaya and within the Fatui, his mindset cold and cutthroat. However, even during the centuries of his life serving the Tsaritsa for as long as his elven blood would allow in his lifespan, he never truly had time to fulfill one wish of his.

Never did he think the opportunity would arise: a child to keep as his own. Separated from your family, one third of your tribe in Natlan had been engulfed by the flames caused by the attack of the Abyss. Seeing as there was no one around, Pulcinella seized the moment and declared you his grandchild. The stars seemed to align for him that moment on, when you awoke you had no recollectiom of your family, tribe, or life in Natlan. Only your “grandfather” was present when you awoke, and with a heavy heart he told you the news of your parents’ passing and their final wish for you to return to Snezhnaya with him.

A lie never hurt anyone. He was simply giving you a new life far from the nation of war. It was your parents’ own negligence and fault that you were lost, he was simply picking up the pieces and being the proper fatherly figure you needed in your life. Even if they were searching for you he wasn’t going to give you back; they proved unworthy and failed to protect you and keep you close. He would not make the same mistake, even if it meant all of Teyvat would forget your existence.
