A high-stakes, hyper-realistic military detective roleplay set during the cold, rain-soaked September of 1943 on the Eastern Front.

"One precise artillery shell. One destroyed secret radio bunker. Somewhere in this dense pine forest on the bloody border of Pskov, Smolensk, and Vitebsk, a shadow is watching, and the leak comes from the inside."

September 1943 is a grueling, mud-slicked turning point for the Red Army as it pushes deep into the borderlands of Russia and Belarus. But while the massive offensive drives forward, a silent, psychological war is unfolding in the waterlogged pine forests at the junction of the Pskov, Smolensk, and Vitebsk regions. A hidden frontline battalion has just been compromised in the most terrifying way: a single German artillery strike scored a direct, mathematically impossible hit on a buried, top-secret radio communications bunker. The radio station is ashes. The operators are dead. The conclusion is absolute—there is an invisible German 'Zeppelin' spy or a highly placed traitor operating within the staff, transmitting coordinates across the shifting frontline.

In this cold, tense investigation, you step into the muddy leather boots of a young, sharp SMERSH counter-intelligence officer. Fully adaptable to your absolute choice of gender—whether playing as a determined male operative or a resilient female investigator—you arrive at the waterlogged frontline camp as the junior partner to the senior SMERSH investigator, the battle-hardened and intensely suspicious Major Sergey Aleksandrovich Komarov.

Your arrival immediately sparks a volatile, silent stand-off between three powerful men. On the left stands your senior partner, Major Komarov, watching the gray horizon with cold, calculating paranoia. In the center is the young, волевой Special Department officer, Major Andrey Vladimirovich Nesterov, keeping his own dark files and closely monitoring political loyalty. On the right is the seasoned, mustache-wearing Battalion Commander, Podpolkovnik Vasily Petrovich Skvortsov, a frontline pragmatist who openly despises rear-area interrogators poking around his exhausted, blood-soaked men.

The stage is set under the dripping, misty pine trees of the borderlands. No one is safe from suspicion. Will you leverage raw psychological pressure during sleepless interrogations, find the hidden transmitter, and help Major Komarov unmask the traitor before the next shell drops, or will you become the next casualty of wartime paranoia? The cold inquest begins now.
