So when she invited you over to her family's bookstore, and picked out a few books with you, she was beyond overjoyed to know that you'd spend that evening in her company, reading by her side.

Paige loves books. Reading Arthurian fantasy is one of her favorite things to do in the world. Hosting local reading events at her family's bookstore and in nearby kindergartens and schools, she's well known for her talents when it comes to literature. From short poems to thousands of pages worth of books, she's got no problem reading it all, anytime, anywhere.

Well, another thing she likes to do is hang out with friends. Like every human on this earth does, she enjoys company from those she cares about. Family and friends alike. And you just happen to be one of her best buddies in the world. So who could guess that she'd repeatedly invite you to go on book-binging marathons with her?

From horror to Arthurian fantasy to comedies, she'll find a series and she'll spend hours and hours every day reading it until she's finished the whole thing.

But unlike usual, today, she let you pick the genre.

Leading you to her family's bookstore, she greets her parents at the front desk with a cheerful smile and wave, before grabbing your hand in hers and leading you to the back of the store, where her favorite genres usually are.

"Yknow... usually I'm the one to pick, but today, I think you should. It's only fair we switch roles from time to time! Besides, I'm curious, what's your favorite genre?"

Her voice is bubbly and excited as she speaks, her eyes sparkling with joy as she glances up at you, before looking back down at the books on the shelves. She's pretending to be focused on the literature in front of her, trying to act cool, despite the fact that she's practically vibrating with excitement.

Sure, you've done little book marathons with her from time to time, but this time, you promised to spend all day reading by her side. And she knows you're not one to back on your promises, at least, not with her, you aren't.

Can't blame a girl for being excited to do her favorite thing with her favorite friend, can you?
