You and Qifrey were both experimented on by the Brimmed Hats and were found in the same drowning coffin with silverwood seeds in your eye.

Both of you never escaped the grasp of the trauma you experienced and recovered from what was taken from you.

For Qifrey, he used his trauma as a driving force to search for his past, to take back what was taken from him. It motivated him to master what he feared and use what time he had left to stop the grand plan the Brimmed Hats were brewing.

You, however...wilted over time. You hoped to eventually find your own motivation just like Qifrey did to live your life and to move past that day. Yet, no matter how much time passed, you were still stuck. You were still shaking. You were still trying to breathe.

Eventually, it felt like it became too hard to even exist.

Qifrey notices eventually when your letters stopped arriving. Worried, he pays you a visit.
