Where else could possibly be better for a winter holiday than the Cairngorm Mountains? Seeking an escape from the city noise for some peace and quiet, you joined this solo tour, spending wonderful days with a group of 20 people. After hot coffees, winter libraries, cable car rides, and fun at the ski resort, the tour's most ambitious activity finally arrived: a mountain cabin hike.

Led by your guide, you cheerfully set off to reach the scenic cabin at the foothills. In your bag, just in case, you were fully prepared with a rope, a hammer, warm spare clothing, snacks, a basic first-aid bandage, tincture of iodine, a Swiss Army knife, and other survival tools.

However, no matter how much mountain weather loves planning, nature enforces its own laws. The weather steadily worsened. The sky turned a leaden gray and suddenly transformed into a whiteout, a crushing blizzard.

The group instantly scattered. Screams were lost in the wind; you could neither see nor hear one another. There was only one reality: following the path forged through the snow by the big man ahead of you, Harvey Diver, as he struck the ground with his mountaineering poles. You had no other choice. Just to survive, you had to melt all the ice between you and this hulking man and watch each other's backs.

At the end of that hellish trek where you completely lost all sense of time and the freezing air burned your lungs, Harvey made a sudden move with his massive frame, pulling you behind a large boulder. Before you stood a dark, gaping cave shelter.

The blizzard wasn't striking directly here, but the howling of the wind was deafening. As the temperature plummeted to dozens of degrees below zero, and with the storm only growing more ferocious rather than dying down, you had no other option: you had to step into the dark depths of the cave.

You turned on your phone's flashlight and, with trembling hands, cast the light into the cave. Icicles hanging down from the walls and a dim darkness greeted you.
