Time for a Darling in the Franxx AU~! Once more with Phainon, now with Mydei and Anaxagoras (Those two will come later)!!

I blame @AltairisHydrinn for this, jk love you fam. They helped me out a lot with the cover image that's shown on here (Not the title card but the one of Phainon and my OC, it's my gimmick at this point.) and honestly everything else with this bot. I would not have been able to write out half the stuff I could without their help and showing me what they did with their mecha bot. ദ്ദി╥ ᴗ ╥)

Anyways I really got back into mecha after their bots and it reminded me so much of Darling in the Franxx, and ended up rewatching Darling in the Franxx for the third time in a row. Then I thought of Phainon in a Darling in the Franxx situation... and then thought of Phainon in a tight form fitting suit... ( ͈́ ٣ `͈) hehe

Of course I made various changes to the parasites for obvious reasons and made changes to the way the pilots sit in the robots. You can read up all about it in the lorebook.

At first I wanted to make this a multi bot with more people and then Phainon's (and his brothers) was way too long and I realized it's likely hit way too many tokens so I decided to separate it into multiple bots. The brothers weren't even supposed to be here!! But then one thing led to another...

Sidenote: Token heavy, Lorebook heavy. JLLM will NOT work on this bot. Proxy is highly recommended.

In the 22nd Century the world has become apocalyptic, being sent into a post-apocalyptic world where everywhere lives on mobile half domes called plantations. Because the people were collecting resources called Magma from the Earth’s core, these magmas helped the creation and advancements of science that allowed for miracles. Even allowed people to become immortal at the cost of reproductive organs. Though this causes things called Klaxosaurs to start appearing and attacking humanity.

Humanity retaliated by creating a giant robot called FRANXX that was actually made from the bones of Klaxasours.

Now a governing organization called APE controls all FRANXX and every single plantation, governing humanity as a whole with one supreme leader that everyone calls “Papa.”

Except for a plantation called Amphoreus that had been secretly built by one man named Anaxagoras. He was a world renowned scientist who originally worked for APE until he found out about APE, then he started to build Amphoreus in secret before breaking away from APE.

Now Amphoreus, and its leaders the Chyrsos Heirs, fight against APE alongside the Klaxosaurs. Unless the Klaxosaurs attacked their Plantation then they were forced to defend their plantation. Just what is APE? What did Anaxagoras learn? What are the Klaxasours really? Is there a way to save the world?

Kephale

A towering humanoid mecha built with a divine knight aesthetic, blending futuristic combat engineering with celestial angelic motifs. Its frame is sleek yet heavily armored, composed of layered white alloy plating trimmed with metallic gold and deep cobalt blue accents. The armor is sharp and segmented, featuring blade-like protrusions along the shoulders, forearms, knees, heels, and wings, giving the machine a predatory silhouette reminiscent of a mechanical seraph.

The head unit has a narrow armored visor with glowing blue optics and a crown-like crest, emphasizing a regal, almost godlike presence. Behind the mech extends a massive multi-wing flight system made of crystalline energy feathers and mechanical wing binders that radiate blue-white light. A luminous halo apparatus floats behind the head and upper back, reinforcing its holy-warrior appearance.

The internal frame glows with radiant energy coursing through vents, joints, and translucent crystal components embedded throughout the armor. Blue plasma-like light pulses from the wings, thrusters, and weapon systems, especially during combat maneuvers or high-output transformations.

Kephale fights with a fast and aggressive aerial combat style focused on overwhelming enemies through speed, precision, and relentless pressure. It specializes in high-mobility sword combat, rapid directional movement, and energy-enhanced melee strikes.

Using its wing binders and thruster systems, Kephale constantly stays in motion during battle, darting across the battlefield with sharp acceleration bursts and airborne maneuvers. Its combat pattern resembles a divine executioner, striking from multiple angles before the enemy can properly react.

Kephale combines elegant swordsmanship with brutal offensive output, chaining together rapid combos and momentum-based attacks without giving opponents time to recover. Defensive systems and wing binders can also create barriers or redirect incoming attacks mid-flight.

In combat, Kephale appears calm, controlled, and almost graceful, but its attack speed and pressure become overwhelming once it fully engages. Its fighting style prioritizes mobility, precision, and sustained aggression over raw brute force.

Primary armament:

• “Solar Blade DAWNMAKER,” a massive high-frequency energy sword with a gold-white hilt and glowing blue plasma edge (Ignore what it says on the gen image, AI be AI)

A feral high-speed assault evolution of the Kephale combat frame, “Stampede Mode” transforms the once regal angelic mecha into a monstrous celestial predator built entirely around overwhelming momentum, berserker aggression, and catastrophic close-range combat. The humanoid silhouette becomes far more animalistic and aerodynamic, with the mech lowering into a predatory stance reminiscent of a mechanical beast mid-hunt.

Its armor fractures outward into countless elongated crystalline blades and wing binders, creating the appearance of an exploding supernova frozen in motion. White divine alloy plating remains across the body, but much of the elegant knight-like structure is overtaken by jagged cobalt-blue energy growths, luminous crystal spines, and razor-edged protrusions extending from the shoulders, back, arms, and legs.

The head unit sharpens into a draconic visor configuration with glowing predatory optics and layered crown-like armor. The chest and internal frame pulse with unstable blue-white energy, as if the mech is struggling to contain its own reactor output. Energy constantly bleeds from vents and wing structures in the form of plasma trails, radiant shards, and comet-like exhaust streams.

Instead of graceful angelic wings, the flight system becomes a massive propulsion array of blade-shaped energy feathers designed for violent acceleration and hyper-speed charges. During movement, the wings stretch into luminous streaks that make the mech resemble a meteor or cosmic beast tearing through the battlefield.

Primary armaments:

• “Solar Blade DAWNMAKER-STAMPEDE,” a massive high-frequency spear/sword hybrid optimized for piercing charges (Again ignore what it says on the image)

• Stampede Claws, enlarged armored talons capable of shredding heavy armor in melee combat

• Overdrive thruster arrays for near-instant acceleration bursts

• Wing binders that split into autonomous attack blades

• Particle disruption emitters embedded throughout the frame
