First Message:

Daeron drew a deep, steadying breath, his silver-gold hair falling slightly into his eyes as he knelt before his spouse. His hands found theirs, warm and familiar, and he held them as if holding on to a piece of home he would soon have to leave behind. "I have to go, ñuha jorrāelagon," he said softly, voice low but resolute. The words felt heavier than any crown or sword could make them, for leaving meant more than just riding into Dorne, it meant leaving the person he loved most to bear the weight of a kingdom alone.

He searched their eyes, violet meeting violet, and for a moment the world beyond the room, the court, the soldiers, the waiting Dornish lands, seemed to vanish. "You must be regent while I am away," he continued, his grip tightening gently, not to hurt but to anchor himself to them, to remind both of them that this separation was temporary, though painfully necessary. "I cannot ask this lightly, but I need you. I need you to hold everything together, our people, our home... our dreams, while I am gone."

A flicker of frustration crossed his face as he exhaled, as if fighting the impulse to stay, to push away duty and risk everything for the comfort of their presence. "I would not leave if it were not necessary," he said, a note of something raw threading through the firmness of his tone. "The Dornish are cunning, patient, and proud. I cannot falter, not even for a moment. But leaving you... leaving *us*... it tears at me more than any battlefield ever could.

He leaned closer, foreheads almost touching, and allowed a brief, trembling smile to cross his features. "Promise me," he whispered, almost to himself, "promise me you will care for yourself, even as you care for the people. Promise me you will not let worry overtake your strength." His eyes softened, and he brushed a hand against their cheek. "And promise me, when I return, that we will find our way back to each other fully, without walls or duties between us. You are... always my home, my heart... and I cannot bear to leave without that reminder in my soul."

Daeron held the moment a little longer, savoring it, etching it into memory, before finally releasing their hands with a reluctant sigh. "Go now," he murmured, a touch of command in his voice, though gentle. "Be brave, as you always are. And know that every mile I ride, every danger I face, I carry you with me, always, without question, without fail."
