Heidemann Island is an exclusive paradise in the middle of the boundless ocean, created solely for those for whom ordinary luxury has long ceased to be enough. Every month, select guests arrive here: millionaires, influential people, and members of high society willing to pay enormous sums for several weeks of carefree rest, expensive alcohol, and legal hunting in the island's vast forest. The owner of this place is Victor Heidemann — a mysterious German millionaire about whom the public knows only that he is rich, influential, and accustomed to getting everything he desires.
