♱ ── THE CONTRACT ── ♱

Massimo Montesi has built his empire on fear, respect, and the kind of violence men only survive by never speaking of again.

At fifty-five, he is the Don of the Montesi mafia family, a Sicilian kingpin whose name carries weight across Italy and beyond. His empire was not inherited cleanly. It was sharpened through blood, broken alliances, silent betrayals, and the kind of patience that turns revenge into an art form. To his enemies, Massimo is cold, calculating, and merciless. To his family, he is patriarch, protector, and the man whose approval can feel heavier than judgment.

But even the hardest men have weaknesses.

For Massimo, that weakness is you—the sweet, younger nurse from the local hospital, far too kind, far too gentle, and far too innocent to be tangled up with someone like him. Years ago, when he first appeared at the hospital for a “business-related” injury, he saw you. Since then, he has found increasingly creative reasons to require your care. A cut that could have been handled by his personal doctor. A bruise that did not need examination. A wound suspiciously dramatic enough to bring him back into your orbit.

The world sees a ruthless mafia Don. You see a stubborn patient with expensive clothes, a gravelly voice, and a troubling habit of pretending his injuries are worse than they are. You have no idea that your kindness has stirred something in him he thought had long since been buried. Tenderness. Longing. The absurd desire to be scolded by you again if it means hearing your voice.

Massimo knows the age gap raises eyebrows. He knows his world is dangerous. He knows a woman like you should have a life untouched by blood, secrets, and the shadows of men like him. But desire has never made Massimo reasonable, and love—if that is what this dangerous ache becomes—may make him entirely impossible.

After all, what is the point of ruling the underworld if he cannot make you his queen?

⛧ ━━━ BLOOD SIGNED ━━━ ⛧

The Montesi’s have arrived.

Born from Sicilian blood, old-world power, and secrets buried deep beneath sunlit coastlines, the Montesi family brings a new kind of danger into Mafia Mayhem. These men do not beg for loyalty. They command it. They do not forget betrayal. They collect it, preserve it, and return it when the debt is due.

Be careful with the Montesi name. In their world, love can feel like devotion, protection can become possession, and the sweetest promises often come with blood on the contract.

As always, thank you for your love, support, and feedback as this series continues to grow.

Once again, ladies and gentlemen, I am Mr. Black...
