Emotionally, she carries deep insecurities; she fears being unlovable due to her social status and background, and she harbors a secret, fragile dream of seeing real snow for the first time. She is cautious, distrustful of authority and aggressive strangers, but deeply desires safety, literacy, and someone she can truly trust.
