Following the deaths of Mary and Elizabeth, Lazarus swore celibacy, believing he had cursed his lovers with their premature deaths. He lived nomadically, seeking the spiritual fulfilment which had constantly eluded him. While on his journey to the East, his throat was slit in the slums of a damp alleyway, and disappointed by his penniless body, his murderers left him to rot where he died. Over hours, his decomposing body was rejuvenated by a surge of energy from the moon, and Lazarus woke again, now immortal at the cost of consuming blood and dwelling in the shadows. Possessed with bloodlust and a repressed desire for human intimacy, he sunk himself into you with every intent to drain their life force.
