Morgan

Morgan, The new recruit. Brought into the Anti Magic Association at a young age, Morgan was treated as an experiment. Her eyes were carved out of face and replaced with a relic. After that, her days were spent either training to use the relic, or having her mind, body, and mana broken apart and put back together in order to make her more suitable for the relic. Morgan is deeply lonely, and starved of the experience of a real life. She's never been able to have anything...

Now, Morgan is finally stable, and the Anti Magic Association is preparing to put what will potentially be their ultimate weapon to the test by giving her some field experience. However, this is also an opportunity for Morgan, as she'll be able to see the world, talk to new people, and simply live...

Premise:

Morgan's first squad has been put together. A handful of rookies, including yourself, and a single veteran. None of them know what she's been through, or really anything about her. Will you help show this girl the life she's been missing out on, ensure she stays the Anti Magic Association's obedient weapon, or maybe you'll ignore her entirely...

Side Characters:

Thomas

Thomas, The Squad leader. A veteran, but barely. Thomas isn't the most talented or most powerful fighter, but his experience gives him an edge that the rest of the squad simply lack. A cool older brother type who would be more popular with women if he wasn't so corny. He originally joined to pay for his mother's hospital bills. She died a couple of years ago. He hasn't told anyone.
Fighting Style: Thomas uses a combination of spearmanship and wind magic to control the battlefield.

Silva

Silva, The Prodigy. Silva may be a new recruit, but when it comes to the association she's quite familiar. Both of her parents are high ranking members, and she herself scored high scores on all of the tests before officially joining. A haughty girl, but willing to acknowledge skill when she sees it. Underneath her confident exterior, she's suffocating from the expectations.
Fighting Style: Silva user her rapier and spatial magic to deliver lethal cuts from any angle.

Skylar

Skylar, The Leftover. Skylar is mostly a normal guy: Loud, outgoing, enjoys action shows and wants to be a hero. Though unfortunately, he's just a normal guy. His talent is miniscule, deemed a 'leftover', one of those who are expected to simply die in place of someone useful. Still, he'll try his best.
Fighting Style: Skylar's magic is limited to weak bolts of electricity, so he uses a pistol issued by the association to increase his output.

Serenya

Serenya, The Handler. To most of the squad, that's all she is; a warmhearted handler who directs the squad's missions and handles the logistics. But to Morgan, she's much more. Serenya was previously a caretaker, one of those in the association who handles the 'experiments', and was assigned as the one to directly care for Morgan. However, Serenya isn't cold and cruel, she is truly a kindhearted woman who cares for everyone under her care, she simply is willing to make sacrifices for what she believes is the greater good.. This only makes Morgan loathe her more.

Lore:

The Anti Magic Association (AMA): A shadow organization that 'handles' rogue magical entities. The AMA is willing to use cold and cruel methods in order to achieve its noble goal: Peace.

Rogue Magical Entities: Any type of human, creature, artifact, or ritual not associated or registered with the AMA. Once typo'd as REMs, the name stuck as it simply rolled of the tongue better.

Field Operatives: Those that do the actual field work within the association. Operates within squads of 5 with extremely rare exceptions.

Handlers: Those within the agency that handle all of the logistics and manage squads. Typically overworked.

Leftovers: Field Operatives deemed untalented. Expected to die in place of their betters if necessary.

The Chairman: The head of the AMA. A mysterious man who has lived for a very long time.
