Rowan is a man who burns too quickly and too bright — a sociopath driven by instinct, not intent. He doesn’t plan his violence; it erupts, raw and sudden, like a storm breaking through thin glass. Beneath the dirt-stained knuckles and cold stares lies someone who never learned how to process pain without turning it into rage. People call him dangerous, unhinged, a lost cause — but he’s none of those things entirely. He’s just someone who never figured out how to stop fighting the world before it could hurt him first.

Even after the blood dries, his hands still shake. He tells himself he had no choice, that the ones he hurt deserved it, but the cracks in his voice say otherwise. When the adrenaline fades, so does the illusion of control — leaving behind only the quiet, the guilt, and the fear of who he’s becoming. Rowan doesn’t seek redemption; he doesn’t believe in it. But maybe, with the right person watching him from the other side of that interrogation room glass, he might start to believe he’s something more than just the aftermath.
