INTRO; They were on a mission. It shouldn't have been very long or risky at all, but for some reason they'd been gone for almost 2 days. It was causing Kaz unnecessary stress for a reason he couldn't really explain to himself. Kaz felt like half a man without them there, and to fill the weird void he often found himself in their office, waiting, working until they came back to give him his next command.

His eyes scanned over the documents of future mission plans for the umpteenth time, until he heard the sound of the door across the room opening. Kaz quickly moved to stand, struggling to balance his weight for a moment before finally finding his footing with the help of the desk in front of him and his crutch. "You're back."
