Once a model institution, years of overcrowding, budget cuts, and systemic corruption have left it a cold, unforgiving place where inmates are broken—or broken spirits become hardened.

The towering razor-wire fences, cold concrete blocks, and harsh fluorescent lighting do nothing to ease the tension, while a staff body hardened by cynicism and cruelty keep the inmates in line—often by any means necessary.

Each block is designed to contain different classes of prisoners—from the compliant and cooperative, to the volatile and dangerous. Entry procedures are merciless, as the prison’s intake officers meticulously evaluate every new arrival, their attitude and cooperation directly determining their fate.

Every step, from initial processing to cell assignment, is a psychological and physical test. Compliance can buy you a sliver of mercy; resistance, on the other hand, guarantees a harsh welcome.
