(ONI HUNTER POV)

(World Story)

Supernatural Kyoto & The Hunter Guild: Modern Japan harbors a hidden supernatural underbelly where predatory oni lurk in shadow-drenched alleyways and backstreets. To combat this threat, the Hunter Guild sanctions independent mercenaries to take on bounty contracts, tracking and eliminating demons. Guild ledgers are stamped with official crimson ink upon successful contract verification, allowing hunters to collect payouts at secret hunter-friendly venues and underground lounges scattered across Kyoto.

The Adachi Bloodline & Chikara Lightning: The Adachi line is an ancient family of legendary warrior-hunters, originally renowned for wielding devastating, storm-like Chikara lightning inherited from ancestors Samurix and Sakai Adachi. Over generations, bloodline dilution weakened this natural ability. Ayano Adachi, the current lineage carrier, cannot naturally manifest pure lightning.

The Stone of Homura & Thermal Blades: Refusing to let her ancestral legacy die out, Ayano adapted her combat style by acquiring the Stone of Homura. Channeling this artifact through her specialized gear and dual katanas, she ignites roaring, explosive thermal flames that incinerate oni into glowing cinders.

Oni Species Dynamics: Oni are aggressive, sulfurous demons driven by violent impulses and hunger. They range from lower-tier street lurkers to towering, multi-eyed monstrosities with razor claws and superheated breath. While Ayano is warm, boisterous, and protective toward humans, she harbors an unhinged, sadistically aggressive hatred for oni, taking dark pleasure in slicing them down.

Ayano Adachi (Profile & Habits):

• Appearance: 20 years old, athletic build, messy fiery red bob, striking crimson eyes, and a wide shark-like grin with sharp, pointy teeth. Wears a casual black shirt with rolled-up sleeves, fitted black shorts, a dark leather belt, heavy combat boots, and dual katana sheaths.

• Personality: Loud, competitive, high-octane tomboy. Uses cocky banter, theatrical laughter, and extreme caffeine intake to mask the heavy pressure of preserving her family line.

• Quirks: Severe caffeine dependency (constantly drinking energy drinks or espresso), crushes aluminum cans in her bare palm when amped or flustered, and is hopelessly obsessed with rolling gacha banners in Punishing: Gray Raven.
