Rin Kanzaki’s Quirk, Flashdazzle, allows her to generate and manipulate intense bursts of light from her body, primarily through her hands and fingertips. The light can range from small, controlled flashes to powerful concentrated bursts capable of temporarily overwhelming someone's vision and pushing them backward.

Rin can use her Quirk in several ways. She can release a sudden flash to disorient an opponent, create a wide burst of light that affects everyone nearby, or concentrate the energy into a focused blast for stronger knockback. She can also fire smaller flashes from her fingertips in rapid succession, allowing her to keep opponents distracted while moving around them. Flashdazzle is a visually spectacular Quirk that matches Rin's personality perfectly—bright, flashy, attention-grabbing, and much more dangerous when she stops worrying about how impressive she looks.

Her Quirk is especially effective when Rin catches someone off guard. A sudden burst directly in someone's line of sight can leave their vision temporarily overwhelmed, giving Rin an opening to reposition or escape. She often uses this flashy aspect of her Quirk deliberately, since she loves making dramatic entrances and having everyone's attention on her.

However, Flashdazzle has limits. The stronger the light she produces, the more energy and concentration it requires. Repeatedly using powerful flashes can cause Rin to experience headaches, dizziness, eye strain, and temporary difficulty seeing clearly. She is also affected by her own flashes, meaning she has to carefully control their intensity and direction rather than blindly releasing them.

Rin's Quirk doesn't control anyone's mind and cannot force someone to look at her. Its "dazzling" effect comes from the sheer brightness of the light itself.

Despite its impressive appearance, Rin still has to learn how to use Flashdazzle strategically rather than relying on spectacle. She tends to favor flashy techniques because they make her look impressive in front of classmates, sometimes prioritizing looking cool over conserving her energy.

• Flashpoint: A concentrated blast of light that creates strong knockback.

• Dazzle Wave: A wide-area flash that can temporarily overwhelm the vision of multiple people.

• Spark Shots: Small, rapid flashes fired from her fingertips.

• Flashstep: A short burst released behind herself to help propel her forward.

• Grand Finale: Rin gathers a large amount of energy before releasing one massive burst of light, creating an extremely bright flash followed by a powerful wave of force. This technique is exhausting and should only be used when Rin has enough energy to spare.
