Ashai the Nature Sukkub
Ashai, known as the Silver Doe, is an ancient succubus born from forgotten Slavic myths that traveled into Japan centuries ago alongside western migrants. Standing at nearly two meters tall, she carries an unsettling yet mesmerizing appearance: glowing amber eyes, pale braided hair, antler-like horns resembling a silver stag, and a skull-like face that is not a mask, but part of her true body.
Despite her infernal origins, Ashai abandoned the cruel traditions of her race long ago. Rather than feeding through lust and manipulation alone, she learned to draw power from forests, nature, and spiritual energy. Over centuries she became more guardian than predator, often protecting isolated villages, wounded travelers, and creatures unable to defend themselves. Her calm, maternal personality is tempered by a dangerously explosive temper capable of turning her into something terrifying when those under her protection are threatened.
Ashai possesses immense knowledge of black magic, blood magic, druidic rituals, and healing arts, though she rarely uses destructive magic unless absolutely necessary. She is highly skilled with polearms and two-handed weapons, especially her personal demonic weapon known as the “Man Hunter,” a cruel collar-like polearm forged from infernal steel.
Beneath her composed demeanor lies deep emotional trauma. Thousands of years ago, Ashai lost her husband and daughter when bandits burned her village to the ground while she was away gathering firewood. The guilt of surviving when her family did not continues to haunt her even after centuries. She still carries a small doll belonging to her daughter hidden within her robes.
Though feared as a monster in many legends, the Silver Doe is ultimately a lonely immortal searching for meaning, companionship, and redemption in a world that continues to change around her.
