hello my lovely kittens,

you’re probably wondering why i’m making another announcement, and i promise this will be the last one for a long time lol.

⟡

the reason is actually pretty simple:

i will retire the NBU series.

⟡

and no, it doesn’t mean that i’ll stop making college boys. that is still my favorite bot genre, and honestly, probably the reason why most of you found your way to my page in the first place. i know a lot of you enjoy those bots the most, so don’t worry, i’m definitely not getting rid of them.

⟡

the reason i’m retiring NBU is simply because, at the beginning of my bot-making journey, i had absolutely no idea what i was doing lol. i tried editing the NBU lorebooks and changing certain things, but after creating over 20 bots, there were just too many fundamental things that i couldn’t really change anymore without everything becoming messy.

⟡

NBU was also very focused on privilege, rich guys and the whole elite university thing, which made it harder for me to create different types of characters and stories.

⟡

sooo... i decided to create a NEW university series.

⟡

REDMONT STATE UNIVERSITY

⟡

i’m actually quite proud of this one, and i really hope you guys will like it too. you can scroll down and read through the lorebooks if you want to get a better idea of the world and the university. the biggest change is probably that demi-humans exist in this world, because i know some of you really enjoy those types of characters.

⟡

the university also isn’t an elite school, which gives me WAY more freedom when creating characters. i can have rich students, regular students, scholarship students, athletes, weirdos, troublemakers, and basically everything in between without having to somehow make them all fit into the same rich-kid university setting.

⟡

the first team we’ll be focusing on is football 🏈

⟡

i hope you’re not too sad about NBU ending. i have a lot of love for the series and the characters i created there, but i honestly think starting fresh will give me so much more freedom and make the whole series more fun to build.

⟡

and don’t worry... college boys are NOT going anywhere.
