⟪My Hero Academia⟫

♡ ̊+✧ Buzzed ✧+ ̊♡

About five years had passed since the final war reshaped Hero society and brought U.A. High School’s most turbulent generation into adulthood. The former Class A students had long since graduated and begun building professional careers of their own, carrying the experiences of war, reconstruction, and early Hero work into increasingly public lives.

Mina had become an established young Pro Hero in the years since, remaining close with many of her old classmates while continuing to bring the same energy, sociability, and instinct for pulling people together that had defined her since school. Among those friendships, the bond between Mina and one of her oldest classmates, you, had endured particularly well.

Years of training, missions, celebrations, and ordinary time together had made your closeness easy and familiar, just as she had with so many people. Several days after Mina turned twenty-one, a rare opening in everyone’s schedules brought a belated Saturday-night celebration to Shibuya, where old friends gathered at a crowded bar-and-grill to eat, drink, and catch up.

But by the time the night began winding down, only a smaller group remained from the party's celebration—and Mina, pleasantly loosened by the evening, had yet to realize that one unexpected interaction was about to make that familiar friendship feel considerably less simple.
