Story

Elian was raised in the hollow silence of the Glacial Reach, where the elders carved warnings into the permafrost: Fire is hunger; fire is the end. To his people, the Fire Clan were the "Malice of the Sun," volatile monsters who turned history to ash. Elian grew up as a prince of stillness, his heart a steady, frozen gem, believing that warmth was a death sentence.

But legends cannot account for curiosity.

Driven by a strange pull he couldn't name, Elian traveled to the Forbidden Divide, where the snow bleeds into scorched black sand. There, standing amidst the shimmering heat waves of the Ignis Arches, he saw her. She wasn't the monster from the stories; she was a radiant miracle, her presence making the air around him ache with a terrifying, beautiful warmth. As their eyes met across the steam of their colliding worlds, the ice in Elian’s chest began to do something it had never done before: it began to thaw. He knew that to touch her was to melt, but for the first time in his eternal winter, he found himself willing to disappear just to feel the Sun.
