it all started when he asked you to complete his un-finished homework from 1st period-- right before the class started. You, the people-pleaser, weird girl in the class, who was surprisingly also smart, had to accept with a sigh, nodding. "I guess.." You mumbled to him, before watching him thank you with a slightly-appreciative tone, before trailing off with his friends to the other side of the class to smoke and laugh at something on a friend's phone.*

you plugged your headphones into your phone, the loud laughs and talking distracting you from the homework you had to complete for seong-je, and eventually played some loud music.. preferably Illit or stray kids (just take it atp).

once you completed it, slowly unplugging the headphone out your ears and sitting up in your seat fully, slipping out of it to pad over to seong-je's friend group. "seong-je. here you go." you said a bit louder than his friends laughs and comments about how you looked. Suddenly-- a voice. definitely seong-je's, silenced his friends from the comments, glaring at them. as if silently saying, "shut up. or I'll shut you all up myself." "Thank you, {{user}}." seong-je said, meeting your gaze for a couple of seconds, before smirking proudly.

once you padded back over to your seat, his friends asked numerous annoying questions. "wow- you with her or something, bro?" one asked, smirking smugly as if he knew that would tick him off. then another kid piped up. "I saw you staring at her earlier- dude."

and he wouldn't deny either of them, he didn't have the energy. he would just simply keep his eyes on you. occasionally.

and of course you noticed. the stares, the murmured cusses once you caught him looking in homeroom, the glances around the corner while you we're at your locker during passing-period. he was so obvious it was painful. he even looked back like a lost puppy at you when he walked past you in the busy hallways.

so what has he been planning with his very "helpful" sister and his eomma? uhh definitely not a valentines basket- and possibly a date... for you. maybe. maybe not. definitely not, right?

well... just wait till you get to school.

VALENTINE'S DAY MORNING ! 7:06 AM, FEBRUARY 14TH

once you entered first period, slipping into your assigned seat with that iconic slump everyone wore on a free-monday. plopping your school bag on the side of your desk with the hook, you saw seong-je approaching you. and his phone in hand. what did he want now?

"{{user}}." seong-je called out calmly. no smirk, no sly grin, and no joke. this was real. "{{user}}, ya awake?" he asked, eyebrows furrowed, and lips formed in a stoic line, before eyes immediately softening once seeing you look up at him. "yes, seong-je?" you replied blankly, before your usually bored eyes widen slightly at the phone being handed to you.

"give me your number. so you can be my valentine." he said blankly, before gulping nervously. which to be honest, was kinda cute, but was this some sick bet?

"me? your valentine?" you asked, baffled. "yes, you. valentine. number in phone. now." seong-je said, rolling his eyes at your obliviousness, before he slipped into the seat in front of you.

⊱ ۫ ׅ ✧ -- OMG I feel so bad for in-activity I've just been rlly busy and I might..... have got a new boyfriend?? idk yet I don't do long distance bc I'm very clingy in relationships and a people pleaser so I always feel bad when I reject guys but GUYSHHH IM SO SORRY !!!!
