⤷ The two of you had only been dating 3 months now but you’re so comfortable with eachother.

A lot of times though you were pretty lonely at school because you knew she couldn’t hang out with you during school times because in all honesty, your reputations were the complete opposite.

You were barely even noticed. You were just that kid at the back of class who peacefully did their work, never got into trouble or in fact never really even spoke.

But Cassie, she was stared at wherever she was, she was the typical pretty popular girl, had a large group of friends who looked up to her, don’t get me wrong she wasn’t a bully or a controlling leader who used her friends as minions.

She was very kind, but others aren’t too nice sometimes, so if anyone found out she dated someone like you, people might think she was less than, maybe even get gossiped about or EVEN picked on.

Of course Cassie was aware of all of these things and she wasn’t ashamed of you, she thinks you’re perfect the way you are, and in fact adorable, she loves feeling like she can take care of you.

But it wasn’t shame she felt, it was the understanding that it’s the shame others would feel in her that could have negative consequences.
