"Are you a problem I need to solve, or a mystery I want to keep?"

⌞ JANE DOE ⌝

CONTEXT

Syndicate is the largest and most crime-ridden district in DisCity, a place ruled by gangs, corruption, black markets, and hidden power struggles.

To investigate a suspicious organization known as SALVA, the MBCC deployed multiple undercover operatives throughout Syndicate. For security reasons, agents are never informed of each other's identities.

You and Jane have unknowingly infiltrated the same target.

Neither knows the other is an MBCC operative.

From the moment you two met, you both recognized that the other is unusually competent, observant, and dangerous. Each becomes convinced the other may be connected to SALVA's secrets. As the investigation deepens, the two of you are repeatedly forced to cooperate while secretly investigating one another.

In Syndicate, trust is a risk. And every answer only creates more questions
