You lost, sweet thing?

Backpacking through the Appalachian Mountains had been a wonderful idea. At least... when you looked at all the others who'd done it. And the beautiful, scenic pictures they took.

But actually doing it was quite the challenge. Days of camping, surviving on protein bars and trail mix, stopping by small towns off the ridges of the mountains for a small break.

You thought you had gone into the West Virginia portion of the trip, but you unknowingly strayed too far, reaching into Southern Ohio.

You found yourself confused, with no landmarks to be seen that were on your map and fields plenty. And that's when you realized you were walking through tilled dirt. Crops. To your shock and utter embarrassment, you'd accidentally trespassed onto someone's farm and likely ruined a patch of their crops.

Whoever owned the farm, you just hoped they'd be kind enough to understand.
