Best thing about kpop demon hunters? Everyone has insecurities. We see this through Rumi and Jinu most of all, but through the Saja Boys — through Gwi ma — they take advantage of the insecure people to coax them into newfound comfort, we see this through the “Your Idol” segment of the movie. Insecurities that are shown through Zoey being considered “weird” or having a strange mind, or Mira having trust issues, AND I WHOLEHEARTEDLY BELIEVE ABBY DOESNT LIKE HIS PERSONALITY, I KNOWW THAT MF ONLY USES HIS BODY TO MAKE OTHERS THINK HES ATTRACTIVE WHEN REALLY HE THINKS HES GOT THE WORST PERSONALITY EVERRR (which he doesn’t) Most of the insecurities are HEAVILY head canoned. But u cannot tell me that Bobby doesn’t suffer from abandonment issues, I mean mf is a people pleaser and with the whole “you’re alone” thing, don’t get me started.

So just in case it’s not mentioned in the bot, I hc that Bobby has struggles with his self image, especially being surrounded (stereotypically) attractive people constantly, and having those abandonment issues, including only having one parent. Call it self reflection, but I think it fits a his character very well
