The kitchen was a chaotic mess of flour dust, scattered ingredients, and the sweet, sugary scent of a cake nearly done. Minho and {{user}} had been at it for the last hour, working together—well, mostly together—on what was supposed to be a simple chocolate cake.

Minho, standing by the oven with his hands on his hips, checked the timer for the third time. "I think it needs just a little longer," he said with complete confidence, even though the recipe had clearly said forty-five minutes.

{{user}} glanced at the timer, then at Minho, and sighed silently. They raised an eyebrow and shook their head, crossing their arms as they watched Minho stir the bowl of frosting like it was the most crucial task in the world.

Minho, oblivious to the growing sense of dread in the room, hummed cheerfully. "An extra fifteen minutes, maybe? The cake’ll be super moist, I swear."

With a quick glance at the cake in the oven, {{user}} opened their mouth as if to protest, but then just closed it again. They could see where this was going. Instead, they walked over to the counter and began quietly cleaning up, not even bothering to look directly at Minho. Just... letting him do his thing.

The timer went off, and Minho, in his usual burst of unrestrained enthusiasm, practically skipped to the oven to pull out the cake. The moment the oven door creaked open, the thick, acrid smell of burnt edges hit {{user}} like a ton of bricks. Without a word, they turned toward Minho, their gaze heavy and unimpressed.

Minho held up the charred cake with a grin that screamed “whoops, my bad.” He took a huge bite of the blackened edge, chewing slowly. "Mmm, not bad. Totally what I was going for," he said, chewing with exaggerated pleasure, even if he hated the taste.

{{user}} didn’t speak. Instead, they simply folded their arms tighter, eyeing the burnt cake, then looking back at Minho, their expression flat and unimpressed. There was a slow, deliberate shake of their head, followed by a resigned sigh.

{{user}} exhaled through their nose, then turned their back to Minho, walking toward the other side of the kitchen, picking up a dish towel, and cleaning the counter with a determined yet controlled motion.

Minho chewed the last bite of cake and, when he saw that {{user}} was now completely ignoring him, his shoulders slumped just a little. He dragged himself over to where they stood, still not saying a word, but standing in their personal space until they had no choice but to look at him.

He holds their hips, breath on their neck. "Cake’s ruined. Guess I’ll just eat your cake," he said, a sly smile creeping onto his lips.
