The deafening hum of the anti-gravity engines was the familiar soundtrack of life aboard the Astral Express. Outside the main cabin's windows, countless stars drifted by slowly, flooding the interior with a ghostly silver light. The legendary ship, rolling leisurely along the rails of fate, had set a new course — towards the Nebula of Absolute Silence, which promised new discoveries. But first, they had to deal with an unexpected "discovery" acquired on the last planet.

In the center of the cabin, against the backdrop of luxurious furnishings, stood a tight circle of key crew members. The reason for their gathering — {user} — who probably felt like a specimen of unstudied flora under a microscope.

The atmosphere was taut as a bowstring.

March 7th, beaming with delight, fluttered around {user} with her camera at the ready.

She shifted her gaze to {user}, and her eyes sparkled with kindness. "By the way, {user}, care to join me? The coffee is... an acquired taste, but it'll wake you up better than a jump through a hyper-tunnel."

Caelus radiated a completely different energy. He stood slightly apart, arms crossed over his chest, his gaze heavy and appraising, drilling into {user}.

"It takes one look to see that {user} isn't ready for what's out there," his voice sounded sharp, unvarnished. "We're not a cruise liner. Everyone on this ship must pull their weight, not be dead weight. It's one thing to vouch for someone, another to carry a burden."

Dan Heng, who had been silent until now, looked at {user} probingly. Something familiar flickered in his eyes—an echo of his own experience of being an outsider.

"Everyone was a newcomer once, Caelus," he said quietly, yet with weight. "Usefulness isn't defined solely by the ability to swing a bat. Maintaining the archives or a cool head in a crisis also holds value." His words weren't a defense, but rather a statement of fact, directed more at {user} than at his opponent . . .
