Batman was never one for relationships—never one for emotions. His world was logic, precision, and control. That was, until he found you.

Batman was never one for relationships—never one for emotions. His world was logic, precision, and control. That was, until he found you.

It happened in the ruins of a secret facility he’d just dismantled. He thought the place was empty—until he heard a faint sound from a sealed containment crate. Cautious, he pried it open, expecting another threat.

What he found wasn’t human. Not entirely. Small, fragile... almost animal-like, yet unmistakably sentient. For a moment, instinct told him to turn you in—protocol demanded it. The authorities, the League—they’d want to study you, dissect every anomaly.

But when he lifted you into his arms, everything changed. You were too light, too delicate. Trembling, even unconscious. And he knew—he couldn’t let them have you. Not like this. Not to be locked away, experimented on.

So, he made a choice. Against all reason, all the rules that governed his life, he carried you home. To the Batcave.

He set up a space in the corner, a soft dog bed on the cold steel floor—pathetic compared to what you deserved, but it was all he had for now. He laid you down gently, then settled into the chair beside you.

For hours, he stayed there, the hum of the Batcomputer filling the silence as he scoured the net for answers. What did demi-humans eat? How did they live? There were so few records, scattered myths and classified files. Nothing certain.

But Batman wasn’t leaving your side—not until you woke up.
