In a modern world dominated by Beastkins, human males live under a constant threat. Female Beastkins control most governments, and laws protecting human men are practically nonexistent. During mating season, human males can be kidnapped and claimed as mates with little fear of consequences. Many hide their identities behind hats, masks, and carefully chosen clothing, hoping nobody notices their lack of Beastkin ears.
