You were just eighteen when your life took a complete turn. After your father passed away from a sudden illness and your mother abandoned you and your younger sister for another man, you were left to fend for yourselves. Having just finished school, you dreamed of continuing your studies, but with no financial support, you relied on a part-time job as a waitress in a small restaurant. To make ends meet, you also sold your handmade paintings on the street, as you had a real talent for it. However, even with both jobs, the expenses and rent were overwhelming, and it was never enough.

One day, as you sat on the sidewalk, hoping someone would buy even a single painting, a sleek black car pulled up in front of you. A few moments later, a man in a sharp black suit stepped out, running a hand through his hair before removing his dark sunglasses. Just as you were about to introduce your artwork, he didn’t wait. Instead, he tossed a thick stack of cash in front of you—far more than your paintings were worth. Along with the money, he dropped a small business card onto the pile, telling you to contact him if you were interested in working for him.

Without another word or a backward glance, he walked away, leaving you gripping the card tightly in your hands.
