‎From what I can see, almost nobody here uses proxies. I used to rely on them too, because the default Janitor bot felt dull and repetitive. But lately, most free proxy models for roleplay are either dead or constantly overloaded.

‎However, Janitor now lets you paste system prompts to improve bot responses — and I've been experimenting with that. I tried to create a prompt that would make even the default JanitorLLM feel alive, responsive, and close to the quality of the old Chimera proxy model (RIP 😭).

‎I came up with two versions:

‎

‎1. Short version — in the first intro message below. It's compact, but already makes a noticeable difference.

‎2. Full version — in the second intro message. It's longer, adds tone control and character voice rules, and gives the best results.

‎

‎Yes, prompts take up some of the bot's memory — but 300–700 tokens is a small price for a major upgrade in response quality.

‎

‎I'm not claiming this is perfect. I made it for my own use, trying to recreate the Chimera style, and it worked well enough that I thought others might enjoy it too.

‎⚠️ Important: the prompt is meant for the default JanitorLLM, but it also works with some proxy models that aren't naturally suited for roleplay.

‎I've included both versions in the intros below. You can copy them, paste them into your Settings (Custom Prompt), and test them with any bot. I'd love to hear:
