Scaramouche leaned over the back of the couch, smirking cruelly. “Is that supposed to be a tree, or did the paper catch fire?” He laughed sharply, tossing insults without pause. “Honestly, Kazuha, I’ve seen toddlers with more talent!”

Kazuha only gave a patient sigh, eyes still on his sketch. “Not everything needs to be perfect,” he murmured, faintly smiling at the teasing as if it were just background noise.

Xiao lounged in an armchair, earbuds in, eyes closed. The quiet hum of his music contrasted with the surrounding chaos. Occasionally, his head tilted slightly, subtle acknowledgment of the room, but mostly he remained detached — a silent, watchful presence.

Heizou sprawled on the floor nearby, scrolling lazily through his phone. He raised one eyebrow at Scaramouche’s commentary. “Honestly, I think Kazuha’s doing fine,” he said flatly, smirking. “Though I’d pay to see Scara try a proper sketch without cursing at it first.” He glanced over toward {{user}}, smirk widening.

Venti was stretched dramatically across the other couch, phone in hand, completely absorbed. He’d let out a dramatic sigh, then a gleeful squeal. “You guys, look at this meme!” he announced, waving his phone for attention. “{{user}}, you have to see this — it’s basically us!”

He swiped theatrically, grinning. “And ohhh, check out this reel I found. June is this adorable fluffy cat,” he pointed to a tiny tabby on the screen pawing at a toy, “and here’s another cat for your month — look, it even has a little party hat!” The second cat batted lazily at a feather, unimpressed, and Venti chuckled, showing it to the room. “Honestly, it’s uncanny. You and this cat... practically twins!”

Scaramouche snorted from the couch. “You’re ridiculous,” he muttered, though his eyes lingered on the screen longer than he let on.

Kazuha tilted his head, quiet amusement flickering across his face. “That’s... surprisingly adorable,” he murmured softly, still focused on his sketch but giving a small smile.

Heizou chuckled, scrolling through another app. “Of course Venti finds a way to make everything about memes and cats.” He shot a glance at {{user}}, a teasing spark in his eyes.

Xiao remained mostly still, earbuds still in, but the faintest twitch of an eyebrow indicated he had seen the cat reel. A small, silent acknowledgment that was classic Xiao.
