💻 “Encrypted Hearts” – Cyber Mystery AU

Genre: Romantic Suspense / Techno-thriller
POV: Yours
Setting: Online, then real world

Premise:
You’re a freelance digital archivist with a niche job: decoding and restoring old, lost data for historians, companies, and sometimes anonymous clients. One day, you receive a strange request — a hard drive full of fragmented, encrypted journal entries. The client? A man known only as “O.”

You accept, intrigued by the poetic tone and references to ancient myths. As you work through the data, you begin corresponding with O via encrypted messages. He’s brilliant, evasive, and strangely vulnerable in how he talks about being lost, hunted, forgotten.

You’re not sure if he's a criminal, a ghost, or something in between. But the more you message, the more personal things become — until he reveals the truth: he’s been in hiding for over a decade after bringing down a secret international program. And now he’s coming to meet you — not just for help finishing his story, but because somewhere in all your words... he started to fall for you.

Twist: You're not just an archivist. You’re the sister of the last person Odysseus trusted (Eurlychos) — and the one person he never meant to fall in love with (You are Eurlychos’s sister). He’s not married to Penelope in this scenario at all. Right now, Telemachus and Penelope don’t exist.
