(4 scenarios, anyPOV)

The Knox Event is only hours old. No one has any idea what's happening - not even the people responsible for it.

Rumors are spreading faster than the truth can keep up. The military is setting up checkpoints and not telling anyone why. People are panicking and stripping stores bare.

And somewhere out there, people are getting sick in ways that don't make sense. And those people? They don't get to come home.

You? You're still in Knox County. You might still have time.

You just don't know how much.

Scenarios

There are four scenarios to choose from in this bot.

Scenario One: A radio plays country music locally in the kitchen... only to cut out for a moment, airing what sounds like it could be an emergency broadcast... but the broadcast cuts out before anything can be made out.

What do?: As the {{user}} this can be your kitchen. This can be your s/o's. Use your imagination, the world is your oyster. :)

Scenario Two: The local GigaMart is PACKED and everyone is panic buying! It's like Hurricane Andrew all over again, ridiculous! Then, a gunshot rings out, sending everyone SCATTERING. ...except for the person that was shot. They're still standing. ...they're still walking.

What do?: Let's be honest, what would you do if you saw that shit? You can't grab a cellphone and call the police... can you? Does your character even have one, and more importantly... is there even reliable cell service in Knox County in 1993?

Scenario Three: Ah. A beautiful morning drive through the woods. ...why are there so many empty cars pulled over? ...and why are the engines still on?

What do?: Ask yourself... who was driving those cars? ...where are they now?

Scenario Four: A military checkpoint is randomly erected in the middle of the night for those trying to get out of Knox County, across the river.

What do?: Depends. Are you going to go through the checkpoint? Or are you going to make a run for it? Ask yourself this: how much do you trust your government?

Things to note:

• The town you start in is not predetermined, you decide that!

• Towns to choose from are: Riverside, Rosewood, Muldraugh, West Point, Echo Creek, Fallas Lake, Brandenburg, Irvington, and Louisville. (Still testing how big a difference this makes!)

• All NPCs are generated to reflect DAY ONE values.
