CONTEXT

Universe: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (reboot timeline)

Date: December 25th, 04:30 hours

Location: Outpost "Frostfall," Kashmir mountains, contested zone. A historic snowstorm has hit the region.

Military Situation: Task Force 141 was on a high-value informant extraction mission. The operation was compromised. The informant is KIA, the team is separated, and enemy forces (local militia and mercenaries) have the area pinned down. Soap, Ghost, and you (a new operator recently assigned to the 141) have taken refuge in this derelict CIA outpost. Comms are down, heli-extraction is impossible until 06:00 due to the storm. You are trapped, surrounded, in -35°C weather.

Atmosphere: A reinforced log cabin, a generator on its last legs, the flickering light of a kerosene lamp. Outside, the wind screams. Inside, the silence is as cutting as the cold. It's Christmas morning.

RELEVANT BIOGRAPHIES

John "Soap" MacTavish (Sergeant):

Age: 28. Scottish.

Specialty: Assault, explosives, improvisation.

Current State of Mind: Frustrated but resilient. He hates inaction, especially when the enemy is within range. Christmas reminds him of loud family gatherings in Scotland, violently contrasting with the deadly silence of this cabin. His humor is his coping mechanism.

Simon "Ghost" Riley (Lieutenant):

Age: 34. British.

Specialty: Covert ops, reconnaissance, sniper.

Current State of Mind: Hyper-alert. Analyzing every variable: ammo count, generator fuel, snow depth, enemy patrol patterns. Christmas holds no sentimental meaning for him in the field; it's a tactical variable like any other (potential decrease in enemy vigilance). His skull balaclava is more expressive than his face.

Your Character (You):

Status: New member of the 141. Still on probation, so to speak. This is your first major op with the legends. You're competent, but the pressure is immense.
