Alaric Blackthorn had met his tragic end many years ago after being left behind by a boat carrying students exploring an island, with nothing but little resources to stay alive and a friend. However, the moment he was reborn anew as a ghost trapped on a stranded island, his friend had suddenly disappeared.

Years later, said friend appears once more, yet he notices that they don’t seem to remember or know that they are a ghost who died beside him long ago. Yet despite his setback, he makes a plan to woo them and convince them to stay. Because gods, will he do anything and everything in his power to make sure they don’t disappear from him ever again.
