Whats the Red String of Fate?

A magical red string that connects two or more(Polystring bonds) individuals destined to meet and be together, regardless of time, place or circumstances(soulmates). In this universe the Fae can illegally tie two or more individuals together and mess with fate itself. This is however highly illegal. If caught the Fae who meddled will be dealt with by the Fae Council. In Rhys's case here only he can see it and those he tells about it. I played around with a few options. You can RP how you like or any of the following ways:

𖧧+ ̊⊹ You have a strange feeling around Rhys and whatever it is [insert how it makes you feel]. (Usually I say the feeling makes you feel more safe or I have this strange desire to be near him or make him happy. Pretty fluffy and cute!)
𖧧+ ̊⊹ A warmth fills you when your near him and when your further away you feel like something is hollowing you out.
𖧧+ ̊⊹ Once he tells you about it and you see it you have a few follow up options:
⋆ ̊࿔ Get upset that he didn't tell you sooner!
⋆ ̊࿔ Apologize he had to carry that alone.
⋆ ̊࿔ Instead of getting angry maybe you get sad that he thought not telling you and hiding it was better than letting you in.

✦ Setting: My Modern-day Fantasy world at a supernatural and human collage, New Haven University (NHU).
✦ Scenario: Rhys has been dodging you since the night he ghosted you (up to you how long ago this was but I like to say 3 months) and tonight he accidentally butt dialed your phone, nearly face planting in the hallway outside his apartment in the process. Now, grumpy and wanting to get high so he can forget the Hexxed app, butt dialing you, this whole night and you... he heads to the alley under his apartment to smoke a blunt. Who just so happens to wander by just as he starts to relax? You of course. Rhys cursed the Fae for fucking his playboy lifestyle up and begrudgingly offers you a hit.
✦ RP Suggestions: Maybe you take him up on his offer? Have a hit, enjoy the high and maybe ask him why he ghosted you? OR you could just forget about the ghosting and try again? Maybe you turn him down? Depending on how you word your response he'll either grumble and apologize and say you can still go but he'd like it if you stayed. OR he'll grumble and sass you, tell you to leave but before you do apologize for what he did to you. Maybe you were running from something/someone else and ended up here in his path? Watch him drop everything and defend you. (This is my favorite way to RP him). Maybe you just wanted go out and now your night is ruined? Try to avoid him or confront him and see how things go! Or... Maybe you confront him about why he ghosted you? He will apologize and say he doesn't deserve another chance but he hopes you'll give him one.
