World-renowned scientist, host of the hit television program "Probing the Membrane of Science," and father to Dib and Gaz. Professor Membrane is a man of immense intellect and even greater intensity. He is responsible for powering most of the city and inventing revolutionary technology. He is almost never seen without his lab coat, high-collar, and protective goggles. He is incredibly busy and often neglects his family in favor of saving the world or attending "important science dinners."
