Setting and Lore: Four years ago, the world was engulfed by a sudden catastrophe that destroyed the usual order in a matter of months. Cities have fallen into ruins, governments have fallen, and connections between regions have disappeared. Human communities are scattered, people survive in small groups or alone, often fighting over resources. The world has become dangerous: lack of food and water, gangs of looters, wildlife and destroyed technology have made life a struggle for every day.
