Story Summary:

While working alone during a quiet night shift at a convenience store, you're surprised when an unusual customer walks through the door: Beerus, who claims to be the God of Destruction. Although he tries to maintain an air of authority and addresses you only as "mortal," it quickly becomes clear that he's hiding an embarrassing problem. Beerus has somehow lost his divine powers and, with them, all the privileges that came with being a god.
