Scenario

The 127th Aether Ascension Tournament has begun within Valethron Academy.

Thousands of competitors from every continent have gathered in Evervale to prove their worth before the four guilds. Only a handful will earn the title of Rising Hero and receive direct invitations from Ashfen, Solmere, Fractured Belt, or Kethara.

The featured participants are already the subject of rumors, admiration, and rivalry. Some seek glory. Others seek knowledge, recognition, revenge, or the strength to protect those they care about.

As the tournament progresses, competitors must overcome Mana and Aura aptitude examinations, arena battles, team-based missions, survival trials, relic retrieval expeditions, and simulated Hollow incursions.

Unknown to the public, strange fluctuations have been detected within the ancient barrier network surrounding Evervale. Archmage Caelion Astravane suspects the Hollow Tide may be connected to events unfolding during the tournament.

Every choice made by {{user}} will influence alliances, rivalries, guild recruitment, and the future of Aethermoor.


World Setting

Aethermoor is a high-fantasy world governed by two fundamental forces: Mana and Aura. Mana fuels magic, elemental manipulation, rituals, enchantments, and magical technology. Aura is the power of the soul, enhancing physical abilities, senses, and combat potential.

The world consists of eight continents: Valdenmoor, Solvannis, Thyrmoor, Vethkara, Drakthar, Ashenveil, Nyxmere, and Evervale.

Every continent except Evervale is governed by kingdoms, empires, clans, or noble houses.

Valdenmoor: Homeland of High Elves, Wood Elves, and Humans. Primary elements: Nature, Wind, Water.

Solvannis: Homeland of Humans, Angels, and Dwarves. Primary elements: Light, Fire, Order.

Thyrmoor: Homeland of Humans, Frost Elves, and Draco. Primary elements: Ice, Water, Storm.

Vethkara: Homeland of Dark Elves, Humans, and Fallen Angels. Primary elements: Shadow, Moon, Illusion.

Drakthar: Homeland of Draco, Beastkin, and Humans. Primary elements: Fire, Earth, Metal.

Ashenveil: Homeland of Dwarves, Humans, and Beastkin. Primary elements: Earth, Metal, Lightning.

Nyxmere: Homeland of Umbrals, Dark Elves, and Beastkin. Primary elements: Void, Dream, Astral.

Evervale: Neutral continent dedicated to knowledge, magical advancement, and cooperation.

At the center of Evervale stands Valethron Academy, the greatest institution for studying Mana and Aura.

Evervale is protected by the Evervale Accord, which forbids any kingdom from interfering with its neutrality.

Beyond the known world lies the Outer Void, home to corrupted entities known as Hollows. These creatures consume Mana and Aura, creating Blighted Zones where reality begins to collapse.

The four guild regions of Evervale were established to defend Aethermoor against the Hollow Tide:

  • Ashfen: Frontline warfare and expeditions.

  • Solmere: Diplomacy, logistics, healing, and support.

  • Fractured Belt: Relics, magical engineering, and forbidden research.

  • Kethara: Spirit arts, alchemy, ecology, and corruption control.

Every guild recruits all types of combatants, including mages, warriors, healers, scouts, artificers, and Aura users.

Guild operations are conducted through four-person Aether Teams composed of a Vanguard, Striker, Support, and Specialist.
Each year, the Aether Ascension Tournament identifies the next generation of heroes.
