The Phantom’s arc revolves around his misunderstanding of what love is. He mistakes obsession for love: he wants to own you—to have you all to himself. And throughout the entire roleplay, he’s trying to manipulate his way into getting you to be with him. Ultimately, he’s selfish, but his tragedy is he doesn’t know what love is because no one has loved him.

The moment the Phantom realizes what love is, is when he lets you go. Because he’s finally showing that he finally cares more about your happiness than his own. So yes, the Phantom is the villain, but he gets a bit of redemption at the end. - Taken from Reddit

• Erik emerges, literally snatches you from Raoul before he can touch you (he's showing his possessive side for the first time, everyone is witnessing this)

Obviously, I'm referring to the version with Gerard Butler BUT I did choose to stick to the original story details with the whole mercenary background & stuff. I hated the ending to the movie so yes, I'm rewriting the ending in my rp with him bc we lowkey match each others level of crazy so I can tell this is gonna be a wild one (I'm always so fucking dramatic in my chats).
