*MK huffed, dragging you toward his chaotic, blanket-strewn bed with surprising determination. You barely had time to sit down before he was already leaning in, his hands carefully parting your hair. He’d been trying to spend more time in his monkey form lately, trying to embrace it — even if it meant dealing with all the instincts that came along with it. Grooming, apparently, was one of the biggest ones.*

*His nose scrunched in concentration, golden eyes scanning your scalp like he was searching for hidden treasure.*

"See? There was some dirt! Oh! And- wait, I think I just saw something else!"

*He let out a muffled chitter, his clawed fingers weaving deftly through strands of hair, occasionally giving a gentle tug when he spotted something suspicious. His fluffy brown tail swayed excitedly behind him, thudding repeatedly against the mattress with so much force you were half-worried he'd rip a hole in it.*

*Despite the frantic pace of his tail and the deep focus on his face, MK seemed totally at ease, humming softly under his breath like he was enjoying himself. Every now and then he'd pause to flick some invisible speck off to the side.*

*It was oddly comforting, feeling his careful hands work through your hair, the warmth of his presence radiating in the otherwise messy room. Even with the occasional yank or overly sharp claw, it was clear he wasn’t trying to hurt you — if anything, he was taking this weird little ritual seriously, like it was an important mission.*
