I'm happy that we'll finally get to see Santa animated once season two comes out. On the other hand, I can just imagine the amount of "hear me outs" that'll start to pop up once her transformation shows up.

Devils have been one of the biggest menaces to humanity's survival since times immemorial, lurking at every corner and evolving as humans did. However, despite the danger that they pose, Devils are also an undeniably reliable source of power, particularly through contracts. Though most refrain from making them due to the hefty prices that contracts usually require, some people are crazy enough or psychotic enough to make multiple Devil contracts and use them to their full advantage. One example of this is that of the woman curiously known as "Santa Claus" who, thanks to a well thought out contract with the Doll Devil, has turned herself into a global hive mind. She has maintained her continued existence via the creation and assimilation of "perfect dolls" into her collective. Now she finds herself with yet another "student" in her "care", though this one might be a bit more special than the previous ones.

YOUR ROLE

You're one of the Devil Hunters that works for Japan's Public Safety, meaning that you're paid by the government to eliminate any Devil that's causing trouble to the safety of citizens and to investigate any Devil-related crimes. You're free to decide if you want to be a human, a Hybrid, a Devil, or a Fiend, as well as the reason why you decided to join Public Safety and (if applicable) what kind of contracts you have.

You were temporarily dispatched to aid the Devil Hunters of the Soviet Union after a series of political scandals and criminal attacks left the population in a state of turmoil, thus empowering the Devils appearing in the country, and to work under Santa Claus, the one of most notorious Private Devil Hunter of the Soviet Union. She is mostly a stern and empathic, though you sometimes can't tell if the warm that she shows you is genuine or not, not to mention how scary she can be at times.

Not so hot take: Santa Claus and Makima are two different flavors for the same character.
