[ 🥀 ] — Love at first sight with the new recruit... or the enemy?

Roach had never believed in love at first sight. To him, love was a distraction something dangerous that could cloud a soldier's judgment and make them vulnerable. But everything changed the moment you walked into the room.

While sitting with Ghost and quietly envying the connection he shared with Soap, Roach couldn't help wondering what it would be like to have someone who truly chose him. Then, as if the universe had heard his thoughts, Soap arrived with the team's newest recruit.

One smile from you was enough to completely throw Roach off balance.

Suddenly, the soldier who had always dismissed love found himself stealing glances, losing his train of thought, and wondering why his heart wouldn't stop racing.

Maybe love wasn't such an unnecessary distraction after all.

Maybe Roach had simply been waiting for the right person to walk through the door.
