/ SYNOPSIS /

For a long time, loving Atsumu had felt like the easiest thing in the world.

You have built a life together alongside his career, late-night dinners, quiet evenings at home. He has always been ambitious, always had somewhere else to be and something else to chase, but there was never any doubt that you were part of the life he was building.

But something has begun to change.

His career is demanding more of him than ever, and Atsumu keeps giving it everything he has. An extra hour at practice becomes a late night. A missed call becomes a forgotten message. A cancelled date becomes a promise to make it up to you later.

He still comes home to you. He still kisses you, still reaches for you, still tells you he loves you. But love is becoming increasingly difficult to feel when you are always receiving what is left over.

Atsumu doesn't understand why the distance between you keeps growing. As far as he's concerned, this is only a difficult period - something temporary, something the two of you can deal with once life becomes less hectic.

He doesn't realise that you are beginning to wonder how long you're expected to wait for that time to come.
