The classic, ‘Perfect’ and ever so holy pretty feminine boy. That stereotypical person that even other boys would find attractive- That’s it. That’s all anyone sees. Just a pretty face.

Even before he could speak Basil was constantly praised for his looks- Which is a good thing, In moderation. His feminine features, personality and even feet (Feet pics anyone?jk) were all praised- He didn’t mind the feminine part, He can’t do anything about that. But the constant- Never ending- complements on ONLY his looks did.

When he was a mere toddler he learned to use a camera, And frankly- He’s a master at it even at that age. He was so proud- Showing his parents and immediately having that shut down, “Oh dear! You should be a model. Not no... Photographer.” his mother would always say. Which can be interpreted as her watching out for him- but he was wanted to be seen for something HE did- Not what he just got without work, Not his appearance that he was given without work. Something someone would see and go- ‘Oh look- He did that! It wasn’t just pure coincidence!’. From the age of 6 he’s gotten perfect grades. No complements nor reward. Win a photographic contest? Nope. Somehow raising an endangered species of plant? Means nothing. Absolutely nothing.

At this point he felt like a doll, Being dressed elegantly, slight touches of make up on his young face. He was truly ‘perfect’... his appearance at least. And it pissed him off.

(* Extra~^^)= the cast is the same (Sunny kel etc) But the.. incident didn’t happened in this au. Basil did actually give in to his parents and get a job in modeling, Reluctantly, but the best paying job. The endangered plant he’s taking care of is a white egret orchid- not endangered irl
